Morning Heart Focus

Taking a few minutes to use this simple mindfulness practice in the morning to set a positive tone can help create an energy field of calm and resilience as you move through your day.

At the very beginning of the day, when you first wake up, take a few minutes to focus on a heart quality.

  • Choose a heart quality that makes you feel better. It might be love, appreciation or gratitude, care, compassion, kindness, or a feeling of ease.

  • Focus on your heart and breathe in that heart quality for a few minutes. (you can place a hand or both hands over your heart if you'd like)

  • Practice replacing any negative thoughts or feelings that arise with a heart quality that adds lift to your energy.

  • Reboot this process as needed throughout the day.
